"Urge to Kill Rising…Rising…Rising"

So I am prepping the floors in order to lay down laminate. This is a basic process: remove carpet, padding and accesories, and pull up the small amount of mismatched laminate in the foyer (a space which is 5×5). Sounds easy, right?

THE BUILDER GLUED THE LAMINATE TO THE SLAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kind of idiot glues laminate to concrete???????? The one who built our house, that’s what kind. I seriously want to do bodily injury to some nameless subcontractor. I’ve been on my hands and knees for hours with a mallet, a chisel and a crowbar. And they didn’t use a little glue, they used a lot! I need to take a couple of pictures so you can all really appreciate this.

Seriously, I’m pissed off!
