6 Reasons Why Today Will Be A Good Day
1. Thursday is like Friday for me, as I am off on Fridays. And tomorrow I plan to begin work on fitting a custom adjustable bridge on my upright bass and not thinking at all about church work. I also hope to get the new strings I bought months ago put on in the next week or so.
2. I have been sick all week with a myriad of seemingly unrelated symptoms. Today, other than still being really tired, I have none of them. No sore throat, no upset stomach, no real muscle aches. This is a good thing.
3. I have been listening to really good music today. I brought Patsy Cline to the office with me, and she is playing in the background. How can people not love Patsy Cline?
4. My workload is fairly light today.
5. I don’t think I have to talk to church council members today.
6. I woke up to feeling our baby kicking, and even if everything else about today sucked, that is such a high that it can carry me all day!

When my wife was carring our first daughter I went to all of her check ups so I could hear #1’s heart beating. I would go through my day singing Jackson Browne’s song to myself I hear your heart beating…everywhere I go…
I really like Thursdays because I know that Friday is on its way, lol. I know it sounds weird, but knowing the weekend is close means I can do more things Thursday evening. I don’t have any Patsy Cline CDs (although I like her). I have a Byrds CD in at work now, songs from their country-rock phase, and I am enjoying that right now.
Patsy Cline and your baby kicking, nothing gets better than that.
I love patsy cline! May you have more good days!
When I was carrying my children, it was so exciting to feel them moving. I loved it when they kicked even at night!!
God bless!
