Maybe it is a generational thing, or a personal issue of integrity (I would never say "I believe" if I didn't believe it, no matter how ancient and nice a creed is). If I were going to quote a nice, revered document every Sunday morning for warm fuzzies, I think I would just as soon sing "Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan than say the Nicene Creed!
