A former colleague of mine is a huge Elvis fan. As it would happen, the date that “Elvis stopped making planned public appearences” (because, of course, he is not dead) is also the same date as her sister’s birthday. So her sister was always upset because my colleague would always wear black on her birthday. The sister once said, “Why can’t you just be ‘normal’ for once!”
Agreed!
I know it’s been said a million times already but I can’t believe it’s been thirty years!
Amen. Now, if only I could get more rhinestones on to my vestments …
Hail Hail, Long live the King of Rock n Roll….
“Now, if only I could get more rhinestones on to my vestments…” Good one PD.
Just to put the magnitude of Elvis in perspective, my 11 year old knows who he was and even sings some of his songs.
