I am really glad that a jury returned a guilty verdict on Warren Jeffs. I am not usually the vindictive kind, but to quote Office Space, I hope this guy ends up in a “pound you in the ass prison” so that he can have a better understanding of what he did.

Today, a new congregation voted to issue a call to me. Looks like we’ll be picking up and heading (further) South.
This place promises to be a real challenge. It is a redevelopment, but it has incredible potential. More to come later, I’m sure.

Excellent criticism of the Daily Offices offered in Evangelical Lutheran Worship is available here. It also talks a bit about the offices in the new LSB. Reading this helps frame a little better why this Lutheran uses Anglican resources for daily prayer.
