Open Source Replacement for MS Publisher

Can anyone suggest a good replacement for MS publisher that is open source and XP comaptible?

    Good Question! I don’t think a really good one exists. I use Scribus, which is similar, but harder to use. I also use PagePlus SE, while not open source, it is free. Finally, you could probably do a lot of publishing with Open Office Writer, but it’s not quite the same.
